Full-Arch Tooth Replacement
When patients are suffering from complete tooth loss (edentulism) or have multiple missing or failing teeth, quality of life diminishes and everyday activities can become a challenge. We believe that nobody should have to settle for a life without teeth and Dr. Patrick Nicosia, our experienced periodontist, offers revolutionary full-arch tooth replacement with dental implants. This procedure involves placing just two to six dental implants into your jaw in order to attach a complete arch of teeth. This full arch dental implant procedure can provide you with a strong, stable bite and a beautiful smile you will love to show off.
The Process for Full Arch Implants
Dr. Nicosia wants to help you reach your smile goals and always begins each full-arch treatment with an in-depth and detailed consultation on what you expect. We will take a cone beam CT scan of your oral structure to capture images of your bone volume, location of nerves and any remaining tooth roots. This information is then used to plan your full-arch case, and if you have lost bone volume in your jaw, we may need to restore deteriorated areas with a bone graft. Depending on your needs, we will place between two to six dental implants into areas of your jaw with the most bone. After these implants heal, a natural-looking and fully functional arch of teeth can be securely attached.
Full Arch Dental Implants
For those looking for the ultimate in security and natural appearance, our full arch dental implants provide just that. Dr. Nicosia will place four to six implants into each arch of your jaw in areas that have the most bone volume. After these implants heal, a bridge prosthesis will be securely attached. This prosthesis does not cover the palate of your mouth, improving your ability to taste foods and feels less bulky in your mouth. Depending on your needs, this can be permanently attached or be removable for sleeping and cleaning.
Why Choose Full Arch Dental Implants

Implant Supported Dentures
Patients who are used to dentures or are looking for a more affordable full-arch solution are good candidates for implant supported dentures. Dr. Nicosia will place two or more implants in your jaw to secure a denture prosthesis. This denture can be your current one that we retrofit to support implants, or a new one created just for your smile. Implant supported dentures add additional security and bite strength to your mouth and can still be removed at night to clean and sleep.
