Our team is committed to providing quality periodontics and implantology services to patients affected by periodontal disease and tooth loss in Houston, TX. As a healthcare provider, Dr. Nicosia feels that it is his duty to offer all options to patients with a full explanation of all of their choices. There is always a range of services that a patient can use to solve any given dental problem, and many dentists will only give the most expensive option.

Dr. Nicosia has been practicing for many years and understands the limitations of time, budget, pain tolerance, among other things that can keep someone from getting dental treatment. He feels very strongly that he is morally obligated to meet a patient where they are and to give a thorough explanation of what things cost and give options for different treatment levels.

Long term success for larger dental treatment requires top quality materials and years of dedicated practice and continuing education from your periodontist, implantologist, and/or dentist treating you. While there’s not a good option for cheap treatments, as inexpensive material or an inexperienced practitioner can end up causing longer term damage or the failure of an implant in the long run, there are options that patients can seek that will help to resolve their dental needs and meet their budget.
Honesty is the key factor when treating patients, and that goes to both the actual treatment itself as well as the financing around it.

Our Payment Model

We’re a fee-for-service (FFS) dental office, which means that patients pay a fair rate for each treatment as a separate entity. We have opted to unbundle our treatments so patients can receive personalized quality care when they need it. For us, quality trumps quantity.

Our Insurance Partners

We accept all insurance plans on a non-assignment basis. Non-assignment means that patients to settle the total cost of treatment at the time of treatment and are reimbursed by their insurance company. We’re upfront with our fees and make sure to tell you how much you’ll be required to pay before commencing any procedures.

We are up front with our fees and make every effort to ensure that our patients are informed in advance of the cost of the service to be provided.
