Dr Nicosia was my dentist over 20 years ago before I moved to another city. He is the best and very knowledgeable in his field. I still have my teeth so that is definitely due to his expertise in gum surgery and teeth care. My husband recently started having dental issues and needed to get expert care so of course we made the trip to Houston to see the expert. We are both extremely happy with the dental experience Dr Nicosia and his staff provide for our family.

About Us
What situations count for emergency dental care?
At Patrick V. Nicosia D.D.S., M.S., Inc., patients come to us with a variety of urgent dental needs. These can range from a knocked-out tooth, to a splitting toothache, to infection of teeth and gums. If your mouth is in unbearable pain, we encourage you to use our emergency dental option rather than wait until it's too late.
Should I go to the ER instead?
Our staff can help you decide on if you need dental treatment or emergency medical care. While the ER will likely have a dentist on-call, you may need to be seen for additional medical care depending on what prompted your urgent needs. If your complaints are purely dental, we encourage you to use our office for specialized dental care.
What should I do if my tooth was knocked out?
If you have recovered a tooth that was dislodged from your mouth, please bring it to your emergency dental appointment. If possible, keep the tooth near the gums with cushioning that lets you hold it in place. If it is completely out of your mouth, please store in a small container of saliva or milk to preserve the tooth until you are seen.
